On August 18th, I met up with Raquel (Instagram: @exquisiteedetailsbyraquel), an event planner and custom backdrop designer, for a personal branding session in Houston.
It’s always a treat to work with another creative individual, because my fellow creative minds understand the importance of branding and pouring attention into the little details. For Raquel in particular, details are an essential part of planning events. She knows that every little part fits into the whole to create that unique vision of your dream event. Since she designs custom backdrops for private events and small business trade shows, she knows the value of art. And that only makes me that much prouder to know that she trusted me to capture her vision, as she does for her clients!
Houston Personal Branding
Raquel was looking for a personal branding session that incorporated both a casual look and a dressy one. So, we started out at a local coffee shop, showcasing Raquel’s easy touch. This is how she interacts with most of her clients, so we wanted to capture the warmth she is able to show them when she meets with them.
After the coffee shop, we switched to a dressy look. After all, Raquel knows how to look good for a party—especially one that she’s planned. We wanted her private party clients to see that she knows how to be both comfortable and classy.
And speaking of classy, I wanted to give a shout out to Ashley Kahn, a Houston wardrobe stylist (Instagram: @ashleykahnstyle) for styling Raquel’s fuchsia outfit. As I said before, I always consider it a treat to work with fellow creative minds, and I think Ashley did an amazing job with this look!
